With already so many hits in his profile, Charlie Puth is making another music history teaming up with Hollywood’s it girl Selena Gomez in new single “We Don’t Talk Anymore”.
Before its official release, the “One Call Away” singer teased fans with a short Instagram video of him and Selena Gomez lip-synching to their new song.
It’s safe to say “We Don’t Talk Anymore”, a song off Charlie Puth’s first LP Nine Track Mind out January 29, is up there amongst the best pop breakup songs like Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” and Rihanna’s “Take A Bow”. The song is essentially is about the difficult period post-break up. The ex-lovers, despite their relationship that’s turned sour, can’t quite cope with the ending just yet: “Should’ve known your love was a game/Now I can’t get you out of my brain/Oh, it’s such a shame”.
With the upbeat rhythm and deep-cutting message, the high-profile duet is set to send chills down your spine and ask you to let your breakup pain flow with the music.
