Bangkok’s electronic dance music extravaganza 808 Festival marks its return in December. For the phase 1Β lineup, the festival confirms Armin van Buuren’s legendary trance radio show, A State of Trance, Skrillex and more.

To reincarnate on Saturday-Sunday, December 8-9, 808 Festival decided to escalate the fun to another level by bringing the world’s top spinners from trance universe and dubstep world to lead the 2-day party.

Despite the mind-blowing all-out production that will fully invade the area atΒ Live Park, this year, the crowd will be on cloud nine with spectacular Trance music act from the legendaryΒ record producer and remixer from the Netherlandsβ€” Armin van Buuren. The trance music legend will take over the first day (Sat, Dec 8) of the party with his radio show A State of Trance.

Besides this spectacular act, Armin will be sharing the stage with the psytrance duo Vini Vici. Meanwhile, another top-notch act of the day is the Dutch duo W&W. The duo will join the party as NWYR and will steal the show with their trance music project.

For day 2, all dubstep fans must get ready for the legit and exceptional entertainment from one of the world’s biggest spinners and beatmakersβ€”Skrillex. An American music producer/singer-songwriter will be delivering his selected sounds to squeeze out the best dance moves from the crowd.

The show marks Skrillex first return to Southeast Asia after his hiatus.

Joining the night areΒ Canadian new beat, dubstep and techno star REZZ and South East London’s genre-hopperΒ TroiBoy. Aside from these two talents, theΒ Chicago-based producerΒ Whethan, known for his remix ofΒ “XE3” by Mssingno, will also get on the stage supporting Skrillex with his selection of future bass music.
