British pop group Take That is all set to make a grand return to Bangkok after over two decades in “Singha Corporation presents Take That Live in Bangkok 2016”, the one-night-only concert on March 3, at IMPACT Exhibition Hall 3-4, Muang Thong Thani.
Local organiserΒ Contango announced yesterday Take That, now consisting of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, will be performing in the Thai capital again for the first time since 1995.
“If it’s taken this long for us to make the band’sΒ second visit happen and you miss it, we honestly don’t know how long it’ll take before you can see Take That perform here again.”
Tickets go on sale today (Feb 5) through Thai Ticket Major, ranging from THB2,000 to 5,500.
Formed in 1990 in Manchester, Take That isΒ responsible for many hits that have become part of the world’s songbook like “How Deep Is Your Love”, “Everything Changes But You”, “Back For Good” and “Never Forget”.
Take ThatΒ will also make a stop in Singapore on March 5 to headline a four-day music line-up at the HSBC Womenβs Champions golf tournament (find ticket details here) before returning to their schedule of big UK music festivals.
Don’t expect them to tour as three amigos for long, though; Gary Barlow has confirmed Robbie Williams will join them for the band’s 25th anniversary tour next year.
