Bass music titan Hydraulix has shared ‘Concrete’, the third single from his forthcoming debut album Imposter Syndrome. The track features vocals from hip-hop artist Jasiah.
Hydraulix continues to offer fans of what to expect from his forthcoming debut album, Imposter Syndrome. The Sydney-based producer’s third single from the record, ‘Concrete’, blends his signature bass music elements with metal.
The heavy tune, out now via WAKAAN, features the screamo-vocal talent of alt hip-hop artist Jasiah.
Jasiah’s guest appearance on the track continues to display Hydraulix’s need to continue to push boundaries in order to create his most diverse piece of work yet.
Hydraulix comments,
“‘Concrete’ started as something I wrote with a bunch of mates in the room. I was showing them some different tricks I had learnt but I always knew it could be more than just that. It slowly progressed over time, taking on different forms until I had the instrumental you hear now. My team and I knew that when I was working on the album we wanted a rapper for ‘Concrete’. I threw out Jasiah as a pipe dream and my homie, Afterthought, was able to help us connect the dots. To my surprise, Jasiah loved the beat and was actually down to get on it.”
The single follows ‘Another Minute’ ft. Muchi and ‘Waratah’ with producer Nitti Gritti. Imposter Syndrome is due for release on September 10.

Hydraulix is no stranger to bass music fans, having been around for almost a decade releasing his forward-thinking bass and trap productions as well as touring across North America.
The DJ veteran has performed sets at festivals such as Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, Wobbleland, E-Zoo, among others.
Jasiah, best known for his piercing emo scream and mournful guitar-driven rap ballads, emerged during the boom of the “Soundcloud rapper” era.
The Ohio-based rapper has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Denzel Curry, Rico Nasty, 6ix9ine, Carnage, and Travis Barker.
He gained wide recognition with his 2019 album, Jasiah I Am.
His music video for ‘Crisis’, directed by Cole Bennett, garnered over 25 million view on YouTube as of today.
