Two Door Cinema Club debuted new song “Gameshow” during their gig at The Sinclair pub in Boston on Monday night.
The surprise debut followed a tweet stating that they were working on a new single back in May.

The three-piece may have intended to tease their upcoming album at this year’s Governors Ball festival in New York City, though the Sunday performance was called off due to inclement weather.

This marks fans’ first-ever glimpse of the band’s new material, after they showed no signs of it during their comeback shows “A Tribute to Two Door Cinema Club” in Ireland earlier this year.
The comeback shows were the band’s first ever appearances since December 2013, after their summer 2014 shows were cancelled due to lead singer Alex Trimble’s illness.

The Bangor-native band are currently touring around America and will embark to Europe on June 18, stopping at Somerset for Glastonbury on June 24. They’re also making various stops in Asia, including Kuala Lumpur’s Good Vibes Festival (Aug 12), South Korea’s Pentaport Festival (14), Bangkok (17), and Summer Sonic Festival in Tokyo and Osaka (20-21).
Two Door Cinema Club announced the completion of their third album in April, four years since their second album Beacon in 2012. The album title and release dates are yet to be revealed.
