“Burn It Down” producer Ahzee to perform in Bangkok and Pattaya

New York DJ and producer Ahzee will be making a touchdown in Thailand for the first time, with plans to perform in Bangkok and Pattaya.

After his single “Burn It Down” unexpectedly went viral and topped the charts in Thailand, Ahzee, with help from promoter LOL International, decided to thank the fans with special debut performances in Bangkok (venue to be confirmed) on Friday, September 22 and at Pattaya’s Hollywood Club on Saturday, September 23. “Ahzee Family in Thailand and Asia, I thank you so much for all your support and all the love,” the NRJ-nominated DJ said in a statement. “I can’t wait to see you guys soon. We’re definitely going to do a big tour there. I hope to meet so many of you!”

Back in June, Ahzee’s 2016 single “Burn It Down”, featuring Australian rapper Faydee, became a viral phenomenon after a Thai woman had requested a song where “the snake comes out” at a local club. While no snakes are present in the official music video, the DJ took a wild guess and played “Burn It Down”, much to the woman’s delight and netizens’ surprise.

Within a day the official “Burn It Down” music video received 2 million more views while the song has since amassed more than 150 million hits through remixes and dance cover videos.

Beside Ahzee’s signature #Ahzeedrop, fans can definitely expect to do the famous “snake dance” at both of his gigs.

His songs have been signed to major labels including BIP, Happy Music, Sony, Universal, Blanco y Negor, CAT Music and Ultra Records.

Ahzee’s debut album will be released on Universal Music later this year. He’ll return to Asia in November with a full-fledged tour to promote the anticipated album.
