Vietnamese Arianators will have to wait a little longer until they can see Ariana Grande in their home country.

The “Side To Side” singer hasΒ called off her debutΒ show in Ho Chi Minh City at the last minute due to illness. The show was meant to take place tonight at Quan Khu 7 Military Stadium.

Promoter MMI Live Vietnam said Grande had been fighting off sickness “for the past week and has been advised by doctor to rest.” Read their full statement below.

“We regret to inform you that Ariana Grande, who arrived in Vietnam yesterday for a show in Ho Chi Minh City, will be not be able to perform tonight due to illness. She has been suffering for the past week and has been advised by doctor to rest again. She has sent her deepest regrets to her loving Vietnamese fans and promises to make it up to them in the future. Thank you for your understanding. Please stand by for further information.”

The Ho Chi Minh City concert was Grande’s third Southeast Asian stop for the Dangerous Woman Tour. She previously performed in Bangkok and Manila. No word yet if this will affect her upcoming dates inΒ Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

The singer herself has taken to Instagram to apologise to the fans, “I’m so so sorry. There is nothing I hate to do more than this.”
