Fifth Harmony, Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth, and The Voice 2012 winner Cassadee Pope paid tribute to late Christina Grimmie during their respective performances this past weekend.

During their performance at the WBLI Summer Jam in Wantagh, New York, girl group Fifth Harmony dedicated a moment of silence as tribute to Grimmie.

“Such a beautiful soul, such a beautiful talent,” saidΒ member Normani Kordei. “From the moment that we met she was always nice to us. So humble. We love you and we are praying for your family. And we know you are smiling down from above. Let’s all bow our heads down. Christina Grimmie.”

Following the speech, the crowd lit up their phones in respect to the late singer.

On the same night, Selena Gomez broke down in tears after singing β€œNobody”. She then mouthed the words β€œI’m sorry” to her Miami crowd.

After the song, Gomez spoke about her memories of Grimmie: β€œWhen she was 14, we met her and my parents and I signed her,” said Gomez. β€œOne thing about Christina and her family is that she holds her faith so closely to her. And I think it’s not about a religion and it’s not about anything or good deeds. It’s just that she had faith, and I don’t really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this next song to her.”

Charlie Puth, too, dedicated an emotional number to Grimmie during his NYC gig.

The singer sung “See You Again”, the same hit track he collaborated with Wiz Khalifa as tribute to Fast & Furious’sΒ Paul Walker.

β€œI was reading the news last night and heard that my good friend Christina Grimmie was killed, and I want to dedicate this song to her tonight,” said Puth during the performance. β€œI’ve been upset about this all day, mainly because I just never got to say what I wanted to say to her, and I feel like this song perfectly captures that.”

Over in Nashville, The VoiceΒ 2012 winner Cassadee Pop also dedicated a number on behalf of Grimmie in a duet of “Think of You” with Chris Young.

β€œMy heart goes out to her family and friends,” Pope said at the backstage of CMA Music Festival. β€œI met her a few times and, obviously, I’m a fan of what she did and her work, so it’s just a really sad day for everybody.”
