Ashe closes out the year with a festive streaming special on YouTube titled ‘A Holiday Night with Ashe’ featuring artists and friends of the rising star including Quinn XCII and JP Saxe. The singer has also announced she will kick off the new year with a performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on January 6, 2021.

Ashe’s festive streaming special, ‘A Holiday Night with Ashe’, premiered on YouTube on December 20. The show featured music performances, fireside chats, and dessert making.

The rising singer was joined by artists including Quinn XCII and his wife Macy, JP Saxe, and guitarist Giancarlo Castillo as well as friends Paula Peralta and Spencer Roehre

Viewers tuning in could also donate to raise money for The Midnight Mission, a homeless shelter in Los Angeles.

Ashe comments,

β€œThe holiday special was a piece of home, raising money for Midnight Mission.Β Β It was really special to make a difference with fans who endlessly show up for me time and time again. Just another example of how insane and surprisingly beautiful this year has been.” 

For 2021, Ashe will be releasing new music and collaborations to be announced soon. Starting off the new year, she will be performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with a performance of her breakthrough hit ‘Moral of the Story’ on January 6, 2021.

Ashe had previously made her late-night TV debut alongside Niall Horan on The Late Late Show with James Corden in November. The pair performed ‘Moral of the Story’ at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The show has now garnered over 1.5 million views as of today.

‘Moral of the Story’, featured in Ashe’s double EP Moral of the Story Chapters 1 & 2Β (executive produced by FINNEAS), has amassed over 388 million streams. The re-imagined version features Niall Horan, and is now up to over 92 million streams.

Ashe gained worldwide acclaim from press and fans with The FADER calling her voice “effortless”. People called her music “deeply emotional yet so fun” while NME called her a “formidable new force in the pop world”.

The singer-songwriter’s latest single, ‘Save Myself’, dropped over the summer with a music video shot in multiple locations around Los Angeles, its aesthetics evoking feelings of a washed out, classic Hollywood film.

Ashe is a graduate from the prestigious Berklee College Of Music. She mines much of her inspiration from orchestral pop born from a more magical era.

She notes,

β€œIf I had an altar to bow to, it would be Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys.”

In May, she staged a charity livestream, ‘In My Room’, to celebrate The Beach Boys’ iconic record with artists and friends including FINNEAS, Ryan Tedder, AJR, Jacob Collier, and more. The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson took to Twitter to show support for the event.

Ashe previously toured alongside Lauv and Lewis Capaldi, and has shared the stage with electronic band Big Gigantic at Coachella.
