Bangkok gets to count down to 2018 with Afrojack, Knife Party, Wiwek and more

Bangkok can now count down to the New Year alongside its EDM favourites.

The Bangkok Countdown, or TBC, is the latest dance event the city sparks off this time of year (see 808 Festival, Maya and WOO Fest), taking place on Saturday-Sunday, December 30-31 at Live Park, Rama 9.

It’s new in name only, though. The New Year’s Eve bash is brought to you by the same team behind Songkran mainstay S2O Festival (we see a Thai/Western New Year theme going on here).

The complete lineup revealed today features two headlining acts: Dutch heavy-hitter Afrojack and Aussie duo and Pendulum’s progeny Knife Party. Also confirmed are Wiwek, DJ Feel, Chris Lake, Kutski, Lookas, Riot Ten, Quentin Mosimaan, and Mark Sixma. Stay tuned for set time updates.

Tickets are up for grabs through TBC’s official website, with one-day entry going at THB1,500 and two-day option at THB2,500. VIP tickets start at THB2,500. General admission prices will go up in the next phases.
