Bass music talent Blaize and dubstep creative force FREAKY join forces once more for new tune ‘Coupe’ as the debut contribution for newly-launched Gridlock Records.

Blaize and FREAKY have returned to the release radar with ‘Coupe’, their new collaborative single via new imprint Gridlock Records.

The single, which has received support from producers ATLiens, Crizzly, and Subtronics, follows their 2019 collab release ‘Smoke’ from the four-track Warning EP.

‘Coupe’ also serves as the foundation for the duo’s upcoming US tour by Prysm Talent Agency, set to take place across Hawaii, Detroit, Texas (Ubbi Dubbi Festival), Wisconsin (Outlander Festival), Denver, Florida, and more dates and locations to be added.

The three-minute, unrelenting bass tune features a hefty propelling beat with vocal cuts and merciless bass drops.

Blaize (Austin Moses) is a Texas-based bass music producer, whose unique, headbanging take on the genre has gained legions of fans worldwide for the past six years. His music has seen releases in labels such as Excision’s newfound Subsidia Records, Borgore’s Buygore, Jayceeoh’s Super 7 Records, and Black Tiger Sex Machine’s Kannibalen Records, among others.

2021 has seen the powerhouse producer release ‘Death Note’ with Daze Off and ‘Stay High’.

FREAKY (Alex Fricke) has been releasing dubstep-infused sounds since 2014, gaining support from the likes of Excision, ATLiens, Riot Ten, Calcium, and Flosstradamus.

His high energy releases spans across several labels such as Subsidia Records, Dim Mak, Hybrid Trap, 40oz Cult, and Heavyweight Records.

His intoxicating blend of warbly basslines, rhythmically commanding beats, and larger-than-life build-ups and drops serve as quintessential dubstep at its best, essentially marking FREAKY as a force to be reckoned with.
