Hip-hop star Blxst is back with new single ‘Sometimes’ featuring singer-songwriter Zacari.
‘Sometimes’ marks Blxst’s first single of 2022. The music video, directed by madebyJAMES, seeks to create a an edgy, ‘bad boy’ aesthetic.
HipHopDX describes the song as “a bouncy rhythmic track that finds both singers reflecting on the struggles that come with trying to balance fame with a steady home life.”
The Los Angeles native began the year with an XXL Award win for “Best New Artist of The Year”, and reached a new milestone with over one billion streams.
Blxst had an explosive growth in audience across Asia in 2021, with ‘Chosen’ peaking at#1 on Hot Hits Philippines, #12 on Top 50 Chart – Philippines, #9 on Viral 50 Chart – Philippines, and was picked up by 4 major Top 40s radio stations across the country.
