Electro-pop duo Broods confirmed today their much-anticipated sophomore album Conscious is due for a June 24 release, topping the good news with Australian and North American tours.

The new album from New Zealanders and siblings Georgia and Caleb Nott, now up for pre-order, will feature their latest Joel Little-produced single “Free” as well as collaborations with Troye Sivan, Captain Cuts, Tove Lo and fellow kiwi Lorde.

With a heavier industrial sound, “Free” embodies the direction the duo want to explore in this record. “[It] was the first song that we just loved,” Caleb told Australia’s Music Feeds “We thought, that’s the first song that we want to release. That’s the song that we wanna come back with – a big slap in the face to everyone.”

Upon the album’s release, Broods will embark on Conscious Tour 2016, which kicks off in Brisbane on July 8. Special guests for the Australian leg include Vera Blue and Xavier Dunn.

The tour’s North American leg starts on August 1 in Washington, DC and wraps up on September 3 in Atlanta, GA. Check full tour dates here.
