Calvin Harris, Skrillex and Zedd to perform at 808 Festival this December.
Retox Sessions welcome the most looked forward EDM festival we’ve been waiting for, 808 Festival. Unveiling its phase 1 line up with international acclaimed artists including Calvin Harris, Skrillex and Zedd. The 3-day musical performance is being held at BITEC Bang Na from the December 6-8.
Scottish DJ and producer, Calvin Harris will be performing for the very first time in Bangkok. Known for his top hit singles in 2007 from the album I Created Disco in 2007 “Vegas”, “Acceptable in the 80s”, “The Girls”, “Merrymaking at My Place” and “Colours”. Followed by his second album with the single “I’m Not Alone” hitting #1 in United Kingdom billboard chart. By the time Harris turned 21, he signed contracts with Three Six Zero Group, EMI and Sony in 2006 after he had been discovered on MySpace. His debut album, I Created Disco, was released in June 2007, with all 14 tracks solely produced by Harris on Amiga computer. The album reached number eight on the UK Albums Chart and number 19 on The US Top Electronic Albums.

The return of American producer, DJ, singer and songwriter Skrillex who received five Grammy Award nominations at the 54th Grammy Awards including Best New Artist and won Best Dance/Electronica Album, Best Dance Recording, and Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical respectively.

After Zedd’s outstanding performance at Summer Zonic in Japan, he did not fail to disappoint. With singles that propelled to mainstream success, reached 8th position on Billboard Hot 100 like “Clarity” featuring Foxes. Zedd’s second studio album True Colors was released, supported by its lead single “I Want You To Know” featuring Selena Gomez and “Break Free” with Ariana Grande reaching number 4 in the US.
