A producer who is willing to experiment with a wide range of sounds, Mella Dee has never limited himself in his approach to producing music. London based Ryan Aitchison creates a unique blend of driving techno by fusing elements of house with the essence of hardcore and jungle. His earlier influences originated from the sounds coming from warehouses around his stomping ground. Shortly after, this soon developed love of the burgeoning scene and audio palette from warehouse parties globally. His breakthrough success ‘Techno Disco Tool’ reached number 1 in BBC Radio’s Dance Music Chart, along with his Warehouse Music imprint winning ‘Best Breakthrough Label’ award at the DJ Mag awards.
Another Brit DJ from Glasgow better known as Jackmaster who co-founded record label and club night Numbers as well as Wireblock, Dress 2 Sweat and Point One Recordings. Known for his in-depth and diverse music taste and ability to mix music from different genres.
After performing at Wonderfruit in 2014, founder and curator of the Paradise global event series and a member of cross-genre band cross-genre band Hot Natured, Jamie Jones will be making his way back to Thailand. Expect to hear his crafted own distant sound that has paved the way for a warmer melodic side of techno.
DJ and producer from Michigan make his way back after his debut in CIRCOLOCO in Phuket this year. Drawing upon the musical heritage of Detroit and Chicago and his influences from Richie Hawtin and Moodymann. Seth Troxler is also one of the founders of record label Visionquest as well as head of labels Tuskegee, Soft Touch and Play It, Say It. Previously he produced on the Wolf + Lamb, Crosstown Rebels and Circus Company labels and collaborated with artists Art Department, Deetron, Tiefschwarz, Mathew Dear and Subb-ann. Expect to hear his encyclopaedic knowledge of early Chicago house and minimal techno through to obscure indie rock and ambient psychedelia at CIRCOLOCO.
Peggy Gou, the rising female DJ from South Korea, will return to Phuket with her woven acid house, drum’n’bass and grime. Recently launched her own newest single, ‘Starry Night’. When she was growing up she used to spend most of her time dancing in Plastic People and Corsica Studios and was a promoter of Soho Club Cirque Le Soir. Relocating to Berlin meant that she dedicated her weekend to the famous Berghain where the music she heard shaped her to be the critically acclaimed DJ that she is today.
The event will also be supported by reputable DJs including by Bedouin, Jasper James, Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed, Serge Devant, The Martinez Brothers, Waff and William Djoko.
CIRCOLOCO tickets are now currently on sale at Eventpop for 1,500 THB on Saturday, 11 January and 18 January respectively.
