A music festival has a lot to surpass going in its ninth run. That’s certainly the case with Djakata Warehouse Project, but a bigger and stellar edition may just be a surefire considering their recent announcement.
Over the weekend the Jakarta dance gathering revealed the first batch of performers, including Flume, marshmello, and DVBBS, who are heading down to JIEXPO Kemayoran Convention Center for the first time this December 15-16 (Fri-Sat).
Other confirmed acts are DWP’s more familiar faces like Tiësto Galantis, and R3hab, plus an exclusive Asia debut set from W&W’s trance side project, NWYR. According to the festival, this is not even 30% of the epic international roster they got brewing. Stay tuned for updates.
Pre-sale tickets are now available here, going at IDR1,150,000 and 2,500,000 (VIP). Early entry and DWP/We The Fest bundle options are also available.
Organised by Ismaya Live, Djakarta Warehouse Project is the biggest dance music festival in Southeast Asia. The 2016 edition welcomed over 80,000 guests last year and featured as many as 25 major players such as DJ Snake, Zedd and Martin Garrix, as well as 30 other regional acts. The festival also hosted Asia’s largest mannequin challenge last year. Here’s a peek.
