If you’ve been following DNCE you may know that the dance rock group have teased plans to visit the Philippines this year. Now the date is officially set as they’re confirmed one of the final acts, alongside Brit singer Dua Lipa, to join this year’s In The Mix Manila on August 17.
DNCE and Lipa will both perform in Manila for the first time at the Mall of Asia Arena, sharing the stage with previously announced Aussie heartthrobs 5 Seconds of Summer, Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson, Irish indie trio Two Door Cinema Club, and The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” vocalist Daya.

Additionally, promoter MMI Live has revealed ticket prices for this second installment of In The Mix and you may want to sit tight. Tickets are PHP2,120 (General Admission), PHP3,710 (Upper Box), PHP6,890 (Lower Box B), 10,070 (Lower Box A), PHP13,250 (VIP 2 Standing) and PHP15,900 (VIP 1 Standing), going on sale through SM Tickets and its outlets April 30 onwards. Formed in 2015, DCNE comprise of Joe Jonas on vocals, Jinjoo Lee on guitar, Jack Lawless on drums, and Cole Whittle on bass and keyboard. They’re best known for funky anthems like “Cake By the Ocean”, “Toothbrush”, “Body Move” and most recently “Kissing Strangers”, which features Nicki Minaj.

Dua Lipa is a British singer-songwriter and model. She earned worldwide recognition with 2016’s “Hotter Than Hell”, “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” before lending her vocals to Sean Paul’s “No Lie” and Martin Garrix’s “Scared to Be Lonely” in the following months. This June Lipa is due to release her self-titled debut album, on which a collaboration with Coldplay‘s Chris Martin is confirmed.
