MØ, or Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted, is responsible for the insanely infectious “Kamikaze”, “Final Song” and “Drum”. She’s also known for lending her vocals to club bangers like Avicii’s “Dear Boy”, Iggy Azalea’s “Beg For It” and, of course, DJ Snake and Major Lazer’s 2015 mega-hit “Lean On” and the latter producer’s “Cold Water”, also featuring Justin Bieber.

The Ubberud-native’s moniker MØ comes from a Danish word, meaning “maiden”. She cites influences from the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sonic Youth, the Spice Girls, the Smashing Pumpkins, and Grimes, to whom she has been compared.
