Global rock stars Foo Fighters will make their return to Bangkok after more than two decades, with plans to perform at Impact Challenger Hall 2 on Thursday, August 24. Local rock veterans Silly Fools and Ebola are scheduled to support.
Comprising Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear, Foo Fighters’ journey began humbly with a 1994 demo recorded by Dave that mutated into the band’s eponymous 1995 self-titled debut. In the 22 years that followed, the band has grown to become a dominant force on the global festival, stadium and arena circuit.
Foo Fighters’ massive catalogue of gold and platinum albums have won 11 Grammy Awards, sold 25 million records and spawned anthems like “This Is A Call”, “Everlong”, “Monkey Wrench”, “My Hero”, “Learn To Fly”, “All My Life”, “Times Like These”, “Best Of You”, “The Pretender”, “Walk”, “These Days”, “Something From Nothing” and more.
