PREP Returns to Bangkok by Seen Scene Space

Big city indie band PREP are coming back to Bangkok in less than a year. Following a sold-out gig at now-defunct Live RCA in May, PREP are returning to the Thai capital with a bigger show, headlining Voice Space on Saturday, December 2.

The British foursome, who expand to a six-piece when performing live, will be joined by Pla Nin Tem Barn, TELEx TELEXs, and temp as they celebrate the official release of the FuturesEP on local label Parinam Music. The show is brought to you once again by Seen Scene Space.

This return may feel a little soon for some fans, but they’d better make up their mind fast – 500 early bird tickets were sold out in an hour this morning. 700 regular tickets, priced at THB1,200, will be available tomorrow (Oct 3) from 8am through Ticket Melon. They’ll go up to THB1,500 at door provided any remain.

Taking inspiration from artists like Steely Dan who form a band around session musicians, PREP are Tom Havelock (vocals), Dan Radclyff (guitar, synths), Llywelyn ap Myrddin (keyboard) and Guillaume Jambel (drums). They’re best known for debut EP Futures, which features 70’s soul-infused tracks like “Who’s Got You Singing Again” and “Cheapest Flight”.
