Turns out Shawn Mendes is going to treat us better.
Fresh off his first headlining concert in Manila, or what was thought of as his only stop in the region, Shawn Mendes announced today he’s coming back for Southeast Asian leg 2.0 of the Illuminate World Tour. The lucky cities? Singapore and Bangkok.
The “Treat You Better” crooner will perform at Singapore’s The Star Theatre on Saturday, December 9. While in Asia he’ll also make his debut in Bangkok, Hong Kong and Tokyo. These newly announced shows follow his five-date Australian tour which wraps up in Perth on December 6.
A Vine star made good, Shawn Mendes rose to international fame with debut studio album Handwritten, which features hit single “Stitches” that reached the top 10 in the US and Canada, and No. 1 in the UK and Norway. The followup album, Illuminate, out September 2016, is led by singles “Treat You Better” and “Mercy”.
