Having been active as a solo singer lately, Girls’ Generation leader and lead vocalist Kim Taeyeon confirmed her solo concert, Persona. The “Fine” singer will be bringing her brand new tour to Bangkok, her first international stop, this Sunday, May 28 at Thunder Dome Muang Thong Thani. The show is organised by SM True.
Taeyeon has just made her solo comeback in March with her first studio album My Voice, featuring songs such as lead single “Fine” and “Make Me Love You” which was added in the deluxe version of the album released in later in April. My Voice debuted at No. 2 on Billboard‘s World Albums chart, becoming Taeyeon’s second No. 2 entry on the chart following her sophomore EP Why.
The title of her concert is Persona, which is meant to show fans her various music styles and images. This will be the singer’s second solo concert and the first one that travels across Asia (Hong Kong and Taipei are next), making Taeyeon the first K-pop girl group member to hold a solo Asia tour.
