South Korea’s hottest girl group TWICE will be performing in Singapore for the first time!
The JYP girl group will be performing at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre on April 29, 2017 as part of their first solo concert after just over a year of debuting in October 2015. A considerable achievement by the K-pop standards.
TWICE, consisting of members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu, made their sensational debut in Oct 2015 with single “Like OOH-AHH” and immediately hit the K-pop scene with a blast, sweeping almost all of the rookie awards in Korea. Their follow up singles “Cheer Up” and “TT” dominated local charts with “Cheer Up” winning “Song of the Year” from various music awards. All three hit singles generated more than 100 million YouTube views each, with the latest single “TT” breaking the record of becoming the fastest K-pop group music video to attain 100 million views on YouTube.
As one of the most popular girl group in South Korea, fans have been looking forward eagerly to their first concert and TWICE 1st World Tour TWICELAND The Opening tickets in Seoul were snapped up within an hour of going on sale. After wrapping up their highly successful maiden concert in Seoul, TWICE will embark on their concert tour, with stops in Bangkok and Singapore.
