Music’s biggest names just can’t get enough of Singapore. Beside Britrock and R&B giants, the City of Lion is about to welcome back post-rock veterans Explosions in the Sky in early 2017.
Ever since local promoter Symmetry Entertainment dropped a hint about their upcoming gig slated for “3.3.17“, fans have been speculating it could be the Texan quartet, who had already confirmed their appearance at Manila’s Wanderland Music Festival, also taking place in March.
And they were right. Explosions in the Sky will perform in Singapore again on March 3 at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa.
This will mark Explosions in the Sky’s return to Asia in only seven months since their appearance at Fuji Rock Festival this summer, and return to Singapore in three years, after headlining Camp Symmetry Music Festival in 2013.
Early bird tickets are now available for SGD78 through Peatix until November 30. Standard tickets are SGD98 and VIP tickets SGD98. The latter comes with priority entry, a poster and an access to VIP-only area.
Explosions in the Sky recently released The Wilderness, their sixth studio album and first non-soundtrack album since 2011’s Take Care, Take Care, Take Care.
