Last Dinosaurs and panama

Brisbane-native Last Dinosaurs was formed in 2009 by frontman Sean Caskey, lead guitarist Lachlan Caskey, bass guitarist Michael Slone, and drummer Dan Koyoma. The band rose to fame with 2010 debut EP Back from the Dead and 2012 LP In A Million Years, which ranked no. 8 on an Australian album chart. The band was featured in various music festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Southbound as well as HAVE YOU HEARD?’s own HYH Mini Festival in 2013. Their latest album Wellness was released last August. Here’s the lead single off the album.

Panama was formed by Perth-born songwriter and classically-trained pianist Jarrah McCleary, his old bandmate Cam Edwards and a collective of hand-selected local artists to create Australia’s finest five-piece. Panama’s 2013 sophomore EP leads with the anthemic title track “Always”, recorded in San Francisco with and produced by Eric Broucek (!!!, Classixx, Holy Ghost!, Hercules & Love Affair) over two months.
