Good Vibes Festival 2020 is officially cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns

Malaysia’s premier international music festival would have originally taken place on August 14-16 at The Ranch, Genting Highlands.

Good Vibes Festival 2020 will no longer be taking place this year. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, the organisers of Malaysia’s international music festival have made the decision to officially cancel the event.

The festival released an official statement today across its Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages confirming the cancellation of the event. The event would have originally taken place later this year at The Ranch at Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands on August 14-16.

“We were looking forward to this year’s edition of the festival and have been working hard exploring all options to try and make the festival happen,” the statement reads.

“However, after closely following all developments on the ongoing pandemic and consulting with all relevant stakeholders, we have had to face the reality that it is no longer viable to run the festival this year.”

The festival is expected to return next year in 2021.
