90’s Irish rock band ASH to make only stop in Southeast Asia

Irish indie rock trio ASH will be taking their live performance to Singapore around the end of July as part of their world tour to promote their latest album Islands.

Music promoter LAMC Productions confirmed ASH Live in Singapore. The indie rock trio ASH will be performing at Hard Rock Cafe on Tuesday, July 31. This will be their only show in Southeast Asia after their performance at Fuji Rock in Japan. The band will take the stage with new setlist featuring some nostalgia and new hits from their eighth studio album Islands.

Tickets will be on-sale tomorrow (Jun 28) at 10AM onwards through SISTIC. Prices are SGD118.

Formed in northern Ireland in 1992, ASH consisted of Tim Wheeler (vocal/guitar), Mark Hamilton (bass) and Rick McMurray (drums). The trio earned their public recognition through the release of mini album Trailer in 1994.

Meanwhile, in later years, the band captured music critics’ attention especially NME for their debut album 1977. The success of the band was guaranteed with multi-chart topping, multi-platinum selling singles and albums and world tours. Now, these Irish rock heads is back on tour again for their latest album Islands.
