After leaving us curious with a pristine Facebook page and a colourful cover photo on Monday, BAMM! festival has finally dropped the deets.
Short for Bangkok Arts and Music Month, the new multiple-day urban music and cultural event is a team effort between regional promoters we know and love, namely Medium Rare Live, Live Events Group, Symmetry Entertainment and Moonbeats Asia.
The month-long affair will feature concerts from a diverse lineup of artists and be held at different venues around Bangkok, starting off with American producer Yung Bae’s funked up show at NOMA on Friday, April 20.
London multi-instrumentalist Cosmo Pyke will bring his jazzy and hazy brand of soul to Bangkok on Wednesday, April 25 at Helix Garden EmQuartier, preceding his already announced stop at Singapore’s The Pavilion the following day.
French house producer FKJ will make a quick return to the Thai City of Angels and kick off May’s performances on Sunday, May 6 at Moonstar Studio 8, before Iron & Wine takes over the venue on Tuesday, May 15. The folk troubadour also recently confirmed a show at Singapore’s Capitol Theatre.
60’s Thai funk-inspired Texan trio Khruangbin are the final name confirmed today. The Wonderfruit alums will be performing on Sunday, May 20.
