The very talented soulful, jazz, hip-hop driven sound, 26 year-old, producer, multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei will be making his debut on Tuesday 27th August at De Commune in Bangkok.
New Zealand born Jordan Rakei first released his Groove Curse EP received critical acclaim from Europe and North America. Followed by the album debut Cloak under his label in June 2016. He then went on to sign with a British independent Label Ninja Tune releasing his second album Wallflower in 2017, followed by the single Wildfire the year after. His Spotify stream exceeded up to over 100m and was voted as the #2 Album of the Year at Giles Peterson Worldwide Awards, had four singles included on BBC 6 Music playlist, performed live at BBC’s legendary Maida Vale studios with Moses Boyd, Joe Armon-Jones, Oscar Jerome and Binker Golding for BBC 1Xtra and many more.
