LA rapper Kid Ink is set to headline Bangkok’s latest hip-hop and dance festival, Famous: Urban Music Festival.

The American hard-hitter will make his Bangkok debut at the festival’s one night only inaugural edition on Friday, August 11 at Muang Thai GMM Live House, Central World.

He will be joined on the live stage by Thai hip-hop titans Thaitanium and Southside and Swiss rapper Young P.A, while the electronic music front will be supported by Dutch duo 2CROOK$, Indonesian DJ Stan Trigger and Vietnam’s DJ74.

Brian Todd Collins or Kid Ink made waves in 2013 with his Almost Home EP. He’s also known for 2014’s Billboard 200 chart-topping album My Own Lane, featuring “Show Me” and “Iz U Down”, the singles he collaborated with Chris Brown and Tyga, respectively. His more recent high-profile collabs include Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It”, “Body Language (ft. Usher and Tinashe) and Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s “I Love You”. Back in May he teamed up with Ty Dolla $ign! for “F With U”, a lead single off latest EP 7 Series.

Early bird tickets to Famous: Urban Music Festival are now available through Event Pop for THB1,300 (GA) and 2,300 (VIP).

Touting itself as a “statement”, Famous: Urban Music Festival is a new music and lifestyle festival that combines live performances and club shows in the same program. It is the latest inner-city festival that’s emerged in Bangkok’s booming scene in recent months.
