Kanye West just released a line of merch and will be releasing an album in the IMAX.
A month ago, Kim Kardashian announced that Kanye West would release his album Jesus Is King on 26 September. While the release of the album is still being postponed, West held two film screenings in Detroit and Chicago and released a line of merch over the weekend. Yesterday, Kim Kardashian revealed on her socials that a premiere of a film tracking the genesis of the album will be released in theΒ IMAXΒ format onΒ 25 October.
The film chronicles a recent iteration of theΒ Sunday ServiceΒ jams, held at some point during summer this year. Set amidst theΒ Roden Crater, anΒ installation by American artistΒ James Turrell, it captures a performance of the songs offΒ Jesus Is KingΒ byΒ West and his band.
