Kocchi no Kento is back, and this time he’s entering hero territory. The viral J-pop sensation—best known for breaking charts and internet records—is lending his musical firepower to the highly anticipated My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, the official spin-off of the hit anime My Hero Academia.
His new song, “Kekka Orai”, dropped on April 7, the same day the series started streaming worldwide. It’s a high-energy opening theme built around themes of courage, determination, and stepping up—even when the odds are against you. Sound familiar? Kocchi no Kento shared that he’s a longtime fan of the manga and felt honored to write a song that walks alongside the main character, Koichi Haimawari. “I am really blessed to be able to walk alongside the main character. I’m very proud of this song,” he said. “I hope you will enjoy the anime along with ‘Kekka Orai.’”
