Rapper Kofi has released his new single ‘Babygirl’. The track is the latest single from the artist’s highly anticipated debut label EP, Story of My Life, slated to be released August 14th via Red Bull Records.

The upcoming EP is co-produced, written, mixed, and mastered by Kofi himself.

The 22-year-old Toronto native recently caught the attention of Drake after sharing a video of him freestyling to “Do Not Disturb” on Instagram. Kofi also delivered an electrifying performance for Red Bull Records’ first-ever Virtual Festival earlier this year, aimed at raising awareness for MusiCares artist support efforts.

Kofi’s signature sound is an eclectic fusion of rapped and sung vocals against a blend of trap, afropop, and Toronto-inspired alternative R&B beats. ‘Babygirl’ follows the release of Kofi’s catchy singles ‘Nuff Talk’ and ‘F.A.Y’.

The 22-year-old Toronto native has attracted attention from well-known figures, including Drake and OVO Sound, Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire, and Toronto rap veterans Kardinal Offishall and Preme. Over the past few years, Kofi has released fan favorite tracks, such as ‘Came Up’, ‘Wake Up’, and ‘Hold Me Down’ via his own Jvngle Music Group imprint, which have racked up millions of views. Most recently, Kofi has been working on his Red Bull Records debut, Story of My Life, set for release this summer.
