The Norwegian DJ/producer’s livestream festival will launch this Friday, May 29 to coincide with the release of his third LP Golden Hour.
Kygo took to social media on Tuesday, May 26 to announce his online event, the Golden Hour Festival, will be streaming live this coming Friday, May 29. The livestream festival, which is in partnership with the LiveXLive streaming platform and the Palm Tree Crew, will coincide with the release of the tropical house DJ’s third album Golden Hour.

The online festival will feature the Norwegian DJ/producer performing songs from Golden Hour alongside several of the featured artists including OneRepublic, Zac Brown, Haux, Oh Wonder, Rhys Lewis, and Sandro Cavazza. EDM superstar Alan Walker, ‘Margaritaville’ singer Jimmy Buffett, and singer-songwriter Chelsea Cutler will also be performing as well.
The livestream event will also feature a guided meditation session by Jesse Israel and The Big Quiet in honour of Mental Health Awareness Month as well as a magic show from magician Julius Dein.
The event will raise funds for charitable organizations such as WooXBaby2Baby, Crew Nation, and the WHOβs COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
The Golden Hour Festival will begin at 4pm ET/10pm CEST and will be available for viewing on the LiveXLive streaming platform as well as Kygo’s YouTube page.
Kygo’s Golden Hour features a wealth of collaborating artists and previously released singles including ‘Higher Love’ (with Whitney Houston), ‘Like It Is’ (with Zara Larsson and Tyga), ‘I’ll Wait’ (with Sasha Sloan), ‘Freedom’ (with Zak Abel), ‘Lose Somebody’ (with OneRepublic), and ‘The Truth’ (with Valerie Broussard).
