The “Perfect Illusion” singer announced on Twitter this morning that the rumours were in fact “no illusion”. She really is putting on a halftime show at the 51st Super Bowl, set for February 5, 2017.

The announcement came in just a week after Lady Gaga’s release of “Perfect Illusion”, the first single off her fifth studio album Joanne, due October 21.
This will be the first time the Grammy-winning pop star headlines the Super Bowl, though she appeared at this year’s game to sing the American national anthem and earned positive reactions.
