Lady Gaga, whose upcoming sixth album was originally scheduled for release on April 10, has shared new album artwork on social media today.

Lady Gaga has posted new artwork for her highly anticipated album, ‘Chromatica’, on her social media channels today. The still artwork, which presents Lady Gaga clad in armor and high heels pinned against a metallic background, seems to be inspired by science-fiction and/or post-apocalyptic films. Very ‘Mad Max’ if you ask us. Additionally, the pop singer has also revealed the vinyl and cassette editions of the album. Fans of Mother Monster can check out the artwork below.

The upcoming album, which was originally due for release on April 10, has been delayed until later this year due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. It would have been Gaga’s first album in four years since her previous album, ‘Joanne’ (or two years if we count the ‘A Star Is Born’ soundtrack).

The album’s postponement follows a series of cancellations of shows and festivals as well as delayed album releases due to the virus outbreak.
