Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Luis Fonsi is making his Southeast Asia debut.

It’s not quite the tour we were expecting (yet) but the award-sweeping Latin pop powerhouse is set to headline the upcoming installment of Vietnam’s Cocofest happening on Friday-Saturday, July 6-7 at Cocobay, Danang.

The beachside fiesta is organised by Empire Group Vietnam and has only revealed one name so far. Stay tuned for more updates.

If it already had you at Luis Fonsi, who’ll definitely pack hits like “Despacito”, “Γ‰chame La Culpa” and “AquΓ­ Estoy Yo”, tickets are now up for grabs via Cocobay for VND500,000 (standard) and VND900,000 (VIP).

Luis Fonsi recently wrapped upΒ Love + Dance World Tour that accompanies the Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber-featured mega-hit “Despacito”.

The Mandarin version of the song was released in January. It features Singaporean singer-producer JJ Lin and a few Mando-lines from Fonsi himself. Hopefully he’ll get to bring the song to its focal audience while in Asia.
