American singer-songwriter Matthew E. White has shared the music video for ‘Nested’, the latest single from his forthcoming solo album, K Bay, out on September 10.
‘Nested’, the latest single from Matthew E. White, features a music video directed by Shawn Brackbill. The MV features footage of the artist’s recording process for his forthcoming album,Β K Bay, scheduled for release on September 10.
Featuring lyrics radiating with happiness and love, ‘Nested’ is one of the most personal songs the musician has created.
He says,
“‘Nested’ is one of the most personal songs Iβve written, a song about whatever the opposite of coming-of-age is. It was recorded after two intense, transformative days of rehearsal, in one magic take that showcases the distilled, in-the-moment, sledgehammer power of the band.”
‘Nested’ follows two previously released singles, ‘Genuine Hesitation’ and ‘Electric’, from the record.

K BayΒ was recorded in Whiteβs home studio (which is where the album takes its name from) in Kensington Avenue, Richmondβs Montrose Recording and his own local institution, Spacebomb Studio.
The new record is Whiteβs first solo album in six years, following 2015βsΒ Fresh BloodΒ and 2012βsΒ Big InnerΒ as well as 2017βs collaborative effortΒ Gentlewoman, Ruby ManΒ with Flo Morissey.
