The first half of 2017 certainly looks good for metal and metalcore fans. After Bring Me The Horizon, Guns N’ Roses and Wolfmother headbangers can look forward to Sydney five-piece Northlane, who’ll be playing in Singapore for the first time.

Northlane Live in Singapore 2017 is happening on Saturday, May 6 (6pm) at Glass Pavilion, Far East Square, with local post-hardcore outfit Villes set to open. The concert is presented by Pennylane Events.

Tickets go on sale February 22 through Ticketbox at SGD58. Standard tickets will be SGD68.

During their Southeast Asia visit, the band will also perform at Jakarta’sΒ Hammersonic Festival on May 7, where they’ll share the stage with Megadeth, White Chapel and more.

Formed in 2009, Northlane are currently guitarists Jon Deiley and Josh Smith, bassist Alex Milovic, drummer Nic Pettersen and vocalist Marcus Bridge, who replaced founding vocalist Adrian Fitipaldes in 2014.

They’re best known for their 2011 debutΒ DiscoveriesΒ and 2015’sΒ Node, which peaked at No. 1 on Australian chartsΒ and earned the title of Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album at the ARIA Music Awards in 2015.
