2017 already sounds like a great year for hard rock fans.

First you have Guns N’ Roses shows in Singapore, Bangkok and Dubai in February. And now metal legends Metallica just dropped a bombshell announcement they’ve chosen Asia to commence an extensive world trek, WorldWired Tour.

The only date revealed so far is January 11, when the band will bring cold hard rock realness back to Seoul.

They said in an official announcement, “The New Year will be just over a week old when we return to Seoul, South Korea on January 11, 2017 at the Gocheok Sky Dome for the first of six shows in that corner of the world…”

For the lucky South Koreans out there, discounted early bird floor tickets will be available October 24 (12PM) for 24 hours. All tickets go on sale on October 26 (12PM) through Interpark, hotline 1544-1555, and the Interpark Ticketing app.

The WorldWired Tour will be in support of Metallica’s tenth and forthcoming album Hardwired… to Self-Destructwhich is scheduled for a November 18 release.
