Formed in 1988, the band consisting of Jascha Richter (singer, keyboards), Kare Wanscher (drums) and Mikkel Lentz (guitar), has sold over 11 million records worldwide, mainly in Asia, and in addition, another 6 million or more paid downloads for their single βTake Me To Your Heartβ which was awarded βmost downloaded single of the year 2006β. The band has recorded eight studio albums as well as a number of live and greatest hits albums. The bandβs eighth studio album,Β Scandinavia, was released in 2012.
Back in September Michael Learns To Rock visited Bangkok back to promote their coming celebratory tour. At the press conference they performed old favourites like “Sleeping Child”, “Paint My Love”, “25 Minutes” and new single “Call On Love” as a teaser.
