Grammy winners Mumford & Sons and popular electronic music duo Honne is coming to Singapore for Neon Lights and the team over at AsiaLive365 is pretty damn stoked about this very British line-up!

Are we all excited for Neon Lights this year?
Well… We at AsiaLive365 certainly are, after finding out who the headliner for Saturday is going to be for 2019!
It’s British band Mumford & Sons!!
Returning to Fort Canning Park this year on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November 2019, Neon Lights is also Singapore’s premier music and arts festival. And it looks like the proof is in the pudding with the announcement of two great acts. With more to come at the end of July!
British band Mumford & Sons will put up their first ever show in Singapore and Southeast Asia on the Neon Lights stage on Saturday 23rd November. The band has headlined some of the world’s biggest music festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella.
Playing ahead of Mumford & Sons on the main stage on the Saturday will be British electronic-soul act Honne – a band who has already established their popularity in Singapore. Each of Honne’s four previous Singapore shows have sold out months in advance. The band first made their debut at the 450-pax capacity Esplanade Annexe Studio on 2nd and 3rd June 2017, before moving on to sell out two nights at the Capitol Theatre in March this year.
Masters at setting up an idyllic and almost addictive ambience, fans should expect nothing less than a mesmerising performance.
Says Neon Lights’ Founder and Festival Director, Declan Forde:
“Mumford & Sons have over the last decade established themselves as one of the biggest and most loved bands in the world – due to the consistent top quality of the songwriting and live shows. It’s a huge honour for Neon Lights to be hosting them for their first ever
show in South East Asia – they’ve been top of our target list since we started the festival four years ago. The natural beauty of Fort Canning Park lends a perfect setting for Mumford & Sons’ style and we’re looking forward to announcing the rest of the festival bill in the coming weeks and months.”
Known for incorporating folk instruments such as banjo, mandolin and resonator guitar, Mumford & Sons have released four multi-platinum certified albums over the last decade with singles from all albums such as ‘Little Lion Man’, ‘I Will Wait’, ‘Believe’ and ‘Guiding Light’, topping the charts in multiple different countries including the US, UK, Germany, Australia and Canada.
Fans of the band will remember ‘I Will Wait’ which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in April 2013, and has over 156 million views on Youtube, to date.
The band received eight total Grammy nominations for their second album ‘Babel’, released in 2012, and won the Grammy Award for Album of The Year. The band also won the Brit Award for Best British Group in 2013.
‘Delta’, released in November last year, is the band’s latest album.
