Nick Jonas appeared as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live on April 16, performing latest hits “Champagne Problem” and Tove Lo-featured “Close”.
The songs are singles from Jonas’s third studio album Last Year Was Complicated, due on June 10. Watch the performances below.

Following the show, the 23-year-old singer tweeted “Wow so humbled and honored to have been able to play #SNLΒ as a solo artist. A real dream come true.”
BesideΒ his performer stint, the heartthrob showed his comedic side, appearing in the sketches “Huge Jewelry” and “Pool Boy” alongside this week’s host, comedienne and actress Julie-Louis Dreyfus (Veep, Seinfeld).

This marks the firstΒ time the singer-songwriter booked an SNL gig as a solo artist. He first performed on the show with his siblings, Joe and Kevin, as the Jonas Brothers in 2009.
