The longest-running metal festival of Southeast Asia, Pulp Summer Slam, will be returning for its 19th edition in March 2019. And now it has confirmed American thrash metal legends Slayer for its headlining show.

Set to return at Amoranto Stadium on Saturday, March 23, 2019, Pulp Summer Slam has announced its first headliner. An American thrash metal band Slayer will be leading the festival with their selected pieces from 12 albums.

The show will mark the band last performance in Manila as they are now touring with their farewell tour.

Aside from the first headliner, the region’s biggest outdoor metal music festival has already made a promise that the second announcement will get all metal heads even more on cloud nine.

Tickets will go on sale via SM Tickets and TicketNet on Saturday, December 15 at 12nn. Prices are PHP999 (general) / 2,500 (VIP).

Pulp Summer Slam is one of Southeast Asia’s biggest metal music festival. Organised annually in Manila by Pulp Live World Productions, the festival itself aims to celebrate the existence of metal music by billing the famous rock legends and the region’s very own talents to come together and cherish the metal music culture with frenetic and quality performances.

As reaching its 19-year-old journey, the festival proudly bills Slayer, who are now touring with their farewell tour, to perform in Manila for one last time before bowing out for good.
