Progressive metal band Dream Theater have added Manila and Bangkok to their upcoming Images, Words & Beyond 25th Anniversary Tour.

The Boston quintet will be performing in Manila on Monday, September 25 at KIA Theatre and in Bangkok on Wednesday, September 27 at Thunder Dome Muang Thong Thani. The shows precede their previously confirmed Singapore visit on Tuesday, October 3 at Zepp@Bigbox Singapore.

Tickets to Images, Words & Beyond 25th Anniversary Tour in Manila are PHP2,020 / 3,020 / 4,760 and 5,760, going on sale this July 15 through Ticket Net, its outlets and the Smart Araneta Coliseum Box Office.


Bangkok tickets, priced at THB2,000, go on sale starting August 5 through Thai Ticket Major, its outlets and hotline 02-262-3456.


Formed in 1985 in Boston, Dream Theater currently consist of John Petrucci, John Myung, James LaBrie, Jordan Rudess and Mike Mangini. They’re best known for “Pull Me Under” and “Another Day”, mega hits off their 1992 album Images and Words which hits its 25th year milestone this year. The album is the band’s highest-selling album and voted by fans as the best metal album of all time.

As the name suggests, the tour will see Dream Theater celebrate the album’s silver jubilee. Fans can expect a spectacle like no other, featuring a live set of the album in its entirety and a number hits throughout their career.

Last year the band released their latest and thirteenth studio album, The Astonishing.
