Penang is about to host one of the biggest K-pop events in Malaysia this year.Β Golden Warriors Film & EntertainmentΒ announced this week K-pop Music Wave 2017 is happening on Friday, November 24 at Setia Spice Arena.

The lineup looks set to be a treat to “old school” K-pop fans, lead by King of K-pop Rain, girl group T-ara, as well as Haha and Turbo’s Kim Jong Kook, aka the Running Man Brothers, a musical project from reality show sensationΒ Running Man.

Also in the roster are sextet B.A.P, who have been on tour with Party Baby World Tour. The idol group will be performing at next month’s Music Bank Jakarta ahead of their Penang appearance.

Fans can get a hold of early bird tickets at the K-pop Music Wave 2017 press conference on Saturday, September 2 at Concourse Area, M Mall Times Square. T-ara’s leader Qri is scheduled to attend the event.
