Emotive British singer-songwriter responsible for 2015’s “Let It All Go” RHODES will finally be on his first outing to the East.
With dates in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei, Seoul and several Chinese cities, the Hertfordshire singer will play gorgeous hits from his debut album, Wishes, as well as try out new material he’s been recording for a sophomore effort for the first time.
His Kuala Lumpur debut is happening on Tuesday, May 1 at The Bee, Publika. Advance tickets are available now via Galactix for RM58.
RHODES, or David Rhodes, has captivated audiences with his haunting vocals and ethereal electric guitar since the release of his debut single “Always” in 2013. The song received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and led to a stint supporting the likes of Rufus Wainwright.
His first full-length album Wishes, released in September 2015, became a torch bearer for the new generation of singer-songwriters from England. The Birdy-collaborated “Let It All Go” has amassed over 78 millions Spotify streams and 47 million views on YouTube.
