Techno pioneer Richie Hawtin arrives in Bangkok on the first week of 2023 for a one night only show at V12 by Onyx.

One of techno’s highly influential figures, the British-Canadian producer known for innovating DJ tech including his own line of analog mixers, will play on January 6, 2023 at V12 by Onyx, courtesy of EDM organizer Retox Sessions.

Fans can probably expect Hawtin’s technical skills on the DJ decks as he blasts out techno at the venue, despite V12 being reserved mostly for EDM events.

Despite the venue being mostly reserved for mainstream EDM and underground house events, it’s probably safe to expect techno from the techno pioneer.

Hawtin previously played in Thailand for Wonderfruit’s 2017 Winter edition in Pattaya. Prior to that show, he played at Bangkok’s Retox Arena for 808 Festival’s 2014 edition alongside techno artists Loco Dice and Hot Since 82.
