RON shares bedroom R&B jam ‘With Ya’

Singaporean singer-songwriter RON returns with a slow and sensual track titled ‘With Ya’.

Inspired by R&B heavyweights such as Summer Walker, Russ, and Chris Brown, RON’s latest single recounts his intimate experiences with a past lover. According to the singer, the track details “intimacy of skinship and its stronghold on one’s need for romance.”

He comments,

“Sex is a universal experience & I wanted to document the beauty of it in song. It’s truly a bonding activity and its effect can leave one enamoured.”

‘With Ya’ is the third single off RON’s debut EP anxious. The upcoming five-track EP is produced by Jeff Hue of Vogual Productions and supported by the National Arts Council (SG) under the Presentation & Participation Grant.

RON says,

“Sex can still be seen as a taboo topic in Asian culture as well as the need for human touch. In a post-pandemic world, I hope this song inspires lovers to show love via physical touch and to remind people of the vital importance of physical contact in communicating care & alleviating loneliness.”

Two more songs off the EP will be released with a physical EP launch scheduled for August.
