Ruff shares acoustic version of ‘Reasons’

Dance-pop artist Ruff has shared an acoustic rendition of hit single ‘Reasons’ featuring American Idol finalist Robbie Rosen and international singer-songwriter Mercedes.

Following the release of hit single, ‘Reasons’, last March, Ruff has shared an stripped-back acoustic version of the track.

The track by the New Jersey native features the vocals of Robbie Rosen and Mercedes, and details the end of a rocky relationship. The original buoyant love anthem featured an an uptempo sound, but has now been stripped back to a heartfelt ballad.

The makeover presents the track in a new light, furthering the creative scope of Ruff’s production talents.

He comments,

“I wanted to show an untapped side of my production where I can let the true, organic side of myself reign free through this version of Reasons”

Ruff entered the spotlight in July of last year with his debut single ‘Self Sabotage’ alongside MIKEY C and Lila McKenna. The track was followed by ‘Without It’, and is his first collaborative effort with singer Robbie Rosen who returned to provide vocal harmonies in ‘Reasons’ this year.

The artist cites The Chainsmokers, Lost Kings , Gryffin, NOTD, & Martin Garrix as his musical inspirations, attracting listeners with his radio-friendly dance music.

His dance take on Justin Bieber’s classic single, ‘Love Yourself’, has earned support from R3HAB.
